Product Description

The 300w Led Light Tunnel LM Durable – K-COB is a highly efficient transport lighting system used in tunnels and underpasses. Built for operating in complex environments, this light produces a stunning 39,000 lumens of white, soft light, thus adding visibility and safety to the drivers. 300w Led Light Tunnel has a small, stylish body that is highly resistant to the environmental conditions it is exposed to once installed; due to LED technology, it is suitable for tunnels, streetlights, and other floodlighting applications. There are two tunnel light sets: the K-COB tunnel light, which is impact-resistant and has an IP65 rating for guaranteed durability and energy efficiency even in harsh conditions.

What is the importance of lighting in tunnels?

Tunnel lighting is essential since it is exposed to challenging conditions, including traffic, weather, and pollution: water, dirt, road salt, exhaust fumes, etc. Such aspects call for lighting fixtures capable of withstanding corrosion while still capable of delivering their maximum performance for a long time. The major problem in designing tunnel and underpass lighting is to generate a homogeneous visual scene of the roadway for the driver all over the tunnel and underpass both in daylight and dark conditions.

The light should be distributed correctly to minimize intense light fluctuations that may affect driver vision. Hence, it is essential to obtain the right ground lux level so that the safety and comfort of all users can be in place.

The K-COB Tunnel Light has been developed under detailed professional design by a team of lighting engineers to address these challenges. Using the phosphor-ceramic light source, this model has been certified by four international invention patents and is approved with an expected life span of 55,000 hours. The AL6063 aluminum heat sink is made of titanium to provide the best heat sink and performance reliability.
